  Below are photos of how school looked at the end of summer term 2023 when we had cleared it completely. The building of some partition walls has begun. Updates will follow as the build progresses. 

  

• Colour Dash assembly

  On Monday, Mabel the starfish visited us to present the whole school with prizes for our fundraising efforts. Thank you to the whole Thythorn community. We raised over £550 for Leicester Children's holidays charity. We are very grateful for all they do for some of our children. The total on the screen is being added to.

• Year 6 Leavers' assembly

  We shared a lovely morning with Year 6 families who came to see the Year 6 leavers' assembly on Friday. The children made up sketches of their funniest/happiest memories throughout their time at Thythorn Field. They sang some fabulous songs and also shared their future aspirations with us. They have grown and flourished as a group over the years and we wish them well in the next chapter of their education journey. They have shown many great Thythorn rangers skills such as resilience and perseverance. 

  

• Piano Performances

  Mr White has been teaching several of our children to play the piano since last April. Today they performed in front of the whole school and parents/carers who came to watch them. They were fantastic and very resilient! We have some great talent! Thanks to Mr White for all his hard work and for parents/adults for the support with practising at home!
