English - Reading 

This morning we are starting our day with a reading task, read the information about the 'first arrivals' and answer the questions using quanswers (using the question within your answer). 

 

The answers will be on the final page of the pdf. document

Computing 

After exploring https://www.switchedonkids.org.uk/ log into your Purple Mash account to create your own electrical safety poster. (It is in your to do's section) 

Make sure you press save so I can see what you have done.

An old shaman was telling a story to 3 young children. Ages ago, some human beings had big troubles because the sky was too low.

Design and Technology 

We have been learning about Native Americans and have started looking at the structures that they used to survive. The teepee is one of the most famous of them.

After that, your challenge is to create one at home. 

This can be big, small and completely unique!

I've started mine... 

The children gathered around the fire, they sat down next to the chief. Slowly, the chief called out. 

'Settle down...' The children looked around excitedly. Waiting for the magic to stir. 

'Long ago, the land was different to how it used to be. The land was dry as deserts and hot as fire. The ocean was the only water that was around.'
