Last Thursday you had a new list of words to practise ready for your spelling test.
Ask your grown-up to test you on your words and let Miss Shepherd know how well you did.

Have another read of the story The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch by looking at Tuesday's work.
Think about the character of Mr Grinling. Write a description about him. Think about where he lives , what his job is , his pets , what he looks like etc. You could also draw a picture of him.

SCIENCE
Last week we learnt about some properties of materials.
Transparent , translucent and opaque.
1 - Look at the powerpoint to remind yourself what these words mean.
2 - See if you can find things in your house which are transparent , translucent and opaque. You could use a torch to help you. Think about how you might record your work or you could discuss your findings with an adult.
