ENGLISH - We finished reading the story of 'The Vanishing Rainforest' last week.

Today we will be planning ideas for writing your own Rainforest story, including Remaema as the main character.

Today will be focused on gathering ideas, not actually writing the story!

I would like you to complete the ideas sheet below, thinking about Remaema and her tribe, as well as the changes in the Rainforest.

Story Plan - if you cannot print, simply jot each part down on your own paper.

MATHS - Week 5 - Lesson 1 - Adding and subtracting 3 and 2 digit number

This week will involve addition and subtraction methods. Some elements are fairly difficult, please give me feedback on how your child is doing, this will help me plan for future learning.

FRENCH - follow the powerpoint (in slideshow mode) - click on the sound icon for an example of pronunciation. Finish with the book we have shared before 'Toute les coleurs'

SCIENCE - this week we will focus on TREES. Explore the two types of trees - evergreen and deciduous. If you are able to go for a walk or look for trees near you, that would be great! I have included a photo clue sheet for you to look for types of trees. If you can't go anywhere, look up on the internet the different types of trees included on the photo sheet, read about them and their seeds.

Story time - Danny the Champion of the World - Chapter 5 part 2
