Here is mine year 3! I could have spent longer on adding Celtic patterns on the darker part of the knot. 

It is best to cut about half way when you cut one of the shapes, but when you glue, you can hide the cut easily. 

Also below are some Celtic pattern ideas and the template to either print or copy by drawing with a ruler.
