Good Morning Year 1 I hope you are all well and are continuing to work hard at home for your grown-ups. The updates I have received from you all will be going live in a super working picture gallery so look out for your pictures there! Your pictures make me smile as I am missing you all (a lot!) and this shows me you are happy and healthy...please continue to send them to me! I am so glad you had lovely weather again yesterday and the sun was shining so could go outside in your gardens or for walks to get some fresh air. I went outside in the garden yesterday to get some fresh air and started getting ready to plant some new flowers in the garden. I also played tug-of-war with my dog and her new toys.

Phonics: In your Phonics buster books please complete page 2 (Letters andsounds - part 1) and page 5 (Letters and sounds part 2). There are some great interactive games on the phonics play website for children to play and revise their phonetic skills. Currently, the website is free for parents to sign up to if you log in using the user name: march 20 and the password: home.
English: Looking at your white English packs, can you read through the newspaper article about the enormous turnip and discuss it with your grown up. Turn over the page and follow the instructions at the top of the page and find the key features.
