Good Morning Year 4

Friday 27th March 2020

Welcome to day 5 learning from home! Well done you have worked so hard and have been absolutely amazing and I have loved hearing from each and every one of you! laugh

As we have survived a whole school week home learning, I would love to hear from parents and children about the things that you found fun, helpful and difficult during the week, and if there's anything that you would like to help you!

The plan for today:

Maths - Mental Maths/Flashback Friday

English - Spelling/Handwriting/Grammar

Topic - Life in Ancient Egyptian times

Science/STEM - activity

Story time - Varkjak Paw

I hope that you enjoy the learning, please remember to start your day with the Joe Wicks PE lesson and end it with a diary entry about home learning.

For example, mine today (Thursday) would say

'Dear diary,

I'm so glad it was another beautiful day, I've got the chance to spend some time outside in the beautiful sunshine! I even got the chance to call lots of parents and find out how the children are doing, so I have now heard from everyone in the class, it's been great, especially with lots of email updates from people!

Tonight, I was lucky enough to be able to go outside my house this evening and clap for our NHS heros during this time. From the busy main road I live on, the sound of people clapping, cheering, whooping and fireworks drowned out the sound of cars. I'm glad I got to play a small part in giving thanks to those who are working so hard to keep us safe. #thankyouNHS'
