Read the silly sentences below and see how many sh words you can find!
EYFS - adults read the sentences with your child and see if they can hear the words with the sh sound.
Y1 - Try and read on your own or with adult support . Can you write all the sh words that you find?
The posh fish went to the shop.
The shark and the shrimp went under the ship.
I went in the shed and found ten shells and a shoe.
"The shower is too cold!" I shouted.
The short sheep had a shave.
Game idea
Write some sh words on pieces of paper and play splat the sh word. You will need something to splat the words with. The adult shouts out one of the words and the child has to find it quickly and splat it. Repeating the word as they splat. see below
