Read the spellings. Practise the spellings in your best cursive, joined handwriting.
Pay particular attention to the even-size of your letters and make sure you use the correct formation and letter joins.
Now use each word in the correct context: put each word into a sentence using the correct punctuation.
Try to use the full range of KS2 punctuation to add additional detail and description.
Think skilful sentences - each sentence needs to include an additional skill e.g. figurative skills: similes, alliteration, metaphors, embedded clause, fronted adverbial... what can you include?
Use each of the ten words.
In one sentence I would like to see the correct use of a colon.
In another sentence, I would like to see the correct use of a semi colon.
