►Reading
Please read with your child for 20 minutes each day. This could be a story book which you read, a phonics book which they read or a mixture of the two.
Oxford Owl have a library of free books which can be read on a phone or tablet.
Follow the link below and sign up yourself. You can then access a variety of books which are age-appropriate. Start on age 3-4 (Oxford Level 1) and work your way through as your child gets more confident.
►Phonics
Today we are learning about a new sound 'th'.
Watch the video below and then practise forming the digraph on lined paper or a white board.
You could also practise writing the sound in flour with your finger or with a paint brush and water on the ground outside.
Blue and green challenge: write the following words

Purple challenge: write the above words and then write this sentence.

►Maths
Today we are revising our knowledge of 2d shapes.
Watch the video below and then go on a shape hunt around the house and garden. Try to find lots of examples of different 2d shapes.
Once you have found the shapes, as an extension, describe the shapes using amount of sides and corners and ask your child to identify the correct shape.
If your child if confident with this, the ask them to be the teacher and describe the shapes to you.
