Make some predictions - order of size from smallest to largest.
Get a piece of paper and cut it into 4 long strips .... without putting the strips against your head lay some of the strips out on a table end to end and trim them to make a length that you predict would fit exactly around your skull.... save this for later.
How could you measure a skull?
Could you use something to wrap around the skull that you could then measure?
Design to a way to fairly measure each person's skull in your family and see if your prediction about size order was right.
Measure around your skull and compare it to your paper strip prediction....how close were you?

Skulls are one of the parts of our skeleton that feature a lot in spooky stories, artwork, hallowe'en. You have probably seen pictures and models of skulls in all sorts of places.
Today we are going to learn to draw a 'Sugar Skull'. It is way of representing the skull that is part of a big celebration every year in Mexico.
