Your task this morning is to choose 5 words and put them into sentences. Then have fun practising the words using a variety of ways, like we do in the classroom, such as pyramid words, one letter/one colour and drawing the shape of the word.  I've included a picture of some of the games we do to help you (click on them to enlarge).

This afternoon we are going to look at inventions in the Victorian era.  Watch my video presentation and then you have 3 activities to complete.

1.  Read the riddles on the Victorian History Inventions sheet, and using the answer box at the bottom, work out which invention is being described to you.

2.  Look at the picture cards on the Victorian History inventions and draw a table up to decide which items cam before/during/after the Victorian era.

3.  Your final task is to create a timeline of the inventions you have learnt about from the riddles, so place them into date order.  You can do this with the items from the sheet or write/draw (with the invention date) them into a page on Seesaw.
