► MORNING WORK - ENGLISH
♦ MONDAY
This week we are going to be looking at how to make sandwiches and write our own set of instructions. Today we are going to watch a video 'how to make a jam sandwich' and use some picture cards to sequence the process.
♦ TUESDAY
Following on from yesterday's lesson, today we are going to have a go at following the instructions and make our own jam sandwiches. If you do not have the ingredients, you can make a different sandwich with the things you have or just talk about how you would make one with your grown-up instead.
Here's the video again from yesterday to refresh your memory on how to make a jam sandwich.

Today we are going to begin writing our instructions.
I would like you to write about what things you need to make a jam sandwich and write the first two steps about making the jam sandwich today. We will carry this on tomorrow and Friday.
♦ THURSDAY
Today we are going to carry on writing our instructions. Can you write step three and four today in the sequence of how to make a jam sandwich.
These should be about spreading the jam on to the bread and then putting the two slices together.
♦FRIDAY
Today we are going to finish writing our instructions. Can you write step five and six today in the sequence of how to make a jam sandwich.
These should be about cutting the sandwich and eating it.
