Transition Work:
Today we are thinking about what are hopes and wishes are for next year.
Write a list of things that you would like to improve or get better at next year and also anything that you would like to learn about.
Send your lists to me and I will pass them on to your new teacher.
Phonics:
Today we are reading for comprehension. Ask your child to read some of the captions in the below document and draw pictures to represent what they have read.
Maths:
Today we are practising counting groups of 10.
Draw 10 bags and say that there are 10 apples in each bag.
Ask your child to help you write the 10x table underneath.
Give your child questions such as 'How may apples in 6 bags?'
Complete with various amounts up to 100.
