► MONDAY'S TIMETABLE
Good Morning Year 1
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and have recharged your brains ready for another busy week of home learning. This week is week 4 of our home learning (it's going so fast!) and I want you all to continue to work hard at home (or in school) for your grown-ups. The updates I have received from you all have been super and I am loving the updates you are adding to your SEESAW accounts. Remember to look at the class blog on SEESAW so you can see what your friends have been up to
As mentioned in the SEESAW announcements, Miss Martin will be giving all the children that she hasn't spoken to on the phone yet during this period of home learning (apart form those in school) a quick call to chat to you and see how you are at some point this week. It will be from a private number and will be to the number your grown-ups gave Mr.Smyton when he sent out a parent survey at the beginning of our home learning. If there is any days or times not suitable please send Miss Martin an email to let her know the best time to call.
► MORNING WORK
BLUE WORK - back 1 step challenge
GREEN WORK - regular challenge
PURPLE WORK - forward 1 step challenge
These levels of differentiation, for some pieces of learning, will ensure that your child can access teaching and learning that is pitched correctly for them. If you are not sure which colour to do then please email Miss Martin to check.
► PHONICS
► ENGLISH
In English this week we are going to be looking at a story all about a lady and her crazy invention for a bike. We are going to be looking at Mrs. Armitage on wheels for our focus this week. This story fits in very nicely with our topic because it is about another land transport. Today Miss Martin would like you to watch the below reading of the story of Mrs.Armitage on wheels and using the story cards sequence them into the right order and talk about the story with your grown-up.
