MON

READING

Ooh, there are 5 books on here that I have - two of which I still have to read.

There is one I have saved on my wish list.

How many have you read?

Have you read other books by these authors?

I have other books by Eoin Colfer - a great author - 'The Wish List' is one of my favourites, and more recently, covering current issues: 'Illegal.'

You could listen to an extract of one of the books, in the link, for either of your reading sessions today.

►IT'S LUNCH TIME

►AFTERNOON SESSION

Read for 30 minutes: out loud, 1-1 with an adult or record yourself and play it back - how fluent and accurate is your reading style? Did you recognise your own voice? We always sound different to how we usually think we sound.
P.E.
If the weather is suitable you could do this outside - take a blanket, or a P.E. mat (critical worker pupils in school), outside. Find somewhere flat, in an adequate space. Take your device and press play. Fresh air whilst you exercise.

Y6 We Are Going To Give Yoga a Try For a Few Weeks - KS2 Yoga Lesson - let's ease into the new term with some relaxation

►MINDFULNESS and WELL-BEING

►ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY

You asked for some extra History tasks - Mr Adair has added some new content.

Take a look!

►STORYTELLER

Today's storyteller is you!

Read your favourite childhood story and record yourself.

Practise reading aloud - it's not as easy as you'd think.

If you record a version you are happy with, upload it on Seesaw and send it to me.

We may be able to use it for the  'guest slot' for a storyteller on Friday.

Have you planned and recorded your activity for 'Can I... Cafe?'

What skill, activity, or hobby can you share? Or which short story can you tell? Record yourself as a storyteller - remember to practise reading aloud, practise intonation so it is exciting for the listener. Then record yourself.
