Contractions revisited - embed that learning - grammar mastery!
Today we have two puzzles: tarsia puzzles!
Print off, or make your own on paper.
Cut them up, then mix up the pieces and connect the contracted word with the full version of the word, and see what patterns and shapes you make. What is the most unusual shape you can make? Have you matched the correct contraction with the whole words?
Word clarification - definition:
Basically a tarsia is a simple yet complex jigsaw puzzle that pupils have to solve.
They do it by having to match up sides of triangles so they correspond with another one.
