Topic
Today we are continuing our learning around Italy.
We are learning about the Wonder of the World in Rome, The Colosseum.
Watch the video below and talk to your child about what they learnt about the history of the Colosseum.
Then use construction materials (such as Lego) to build your own version of the famous stadium.
Phonics
Today we are doing a bit of revision.
Follow the link below and play the Phonics Pop game with your child. Select the top box (Set 1- SATP) and ask your child to say which sound is in the bottom right corner and then click on as many of that sound as possible before it changes.
There is a slider at the bottom of the screen to slow it down if necessary.
Maths
Today we are continuing our work around parts and wholes.
Write down the following sums and ask your child to read and then answer them using items to help them.
Explain that the two numbers which you add together are the parts and the final number is the whole.
