Have you heard of him? I bet your parent/carer will know about him! Today's English lesson and topic lesson link well togaother.
To start of, let's watch this video about him and his theatre in London...

1. Where do you think this story is set? Find 2 clues (words or phrases) that tell you this.
2. Which characters have we met so far? Describe them.
3. What is the atmosphere like in the story so far? How do you think this is happening?
4. Prospero says 'right a great wrong' and Miranda says 'what wrong, Father?' Can you think of 3 possible 'wrongs' that could have happened in the past.

TOPIC
Watch the video below to gather understanding of the theatre and it's history.
TASK - create your own GLOBE THEATRE! Look at the images below the video for ideas and inspiration.
You can make your Theatre using simply a piece of paper or go bigger if you prefer!
If you are making a cylinder style theatre, it is best to illustrate before fixing it in a 3D shape.
If you're wanting to make a larger version, maybe only make one wall of it, you could even act out some of the plays as we study them!
