IT'S FRIDAY and on Monday we will be back together as a class. I very much appreciate and understand that means a mix of emotions for all of us. We will be back to learning together, chatting and feeding off each other's energy. I know there will be nerves and I can assure you that all the adults are there to support you and there will also be a lot of excitement to be back with our friends.
Have a relaxing weekend and I will see you bright and early on Monday.

► P.E.
As I know lots of you enjoyed the high energy work out with Leona last week, I have got another class from her today (provided by the SLSSP). Grab a bottle of water and get your body warmed up for a full body workout called 'Body boost'.

This morning I have uploaded a few symmetry based tasks and challenges. There are sheets and website links for a number of activities.
1) Symmetrical challenge sheet - look at the patterns, find where the line of symmetry should be drawn and then add in 1 square only to complete the symmetrical pattern.
2) Symmetry challenge on NRich - Systematically explore the range of symmetric designs that can be created by shading whole squares of the grid below. Decide whether your line of symmetry is horizontal, vertical or diagonal and shade the squares in in a variety of colours so the pattern is symmetrical.
3) Investigate the symmetry of world flags.
► ENGLISH
During our grammar tasks over the last few weeks, a few children have asked me about what parenthesis is. So I thought a lesson on parenthesis was a good choice for today. This Natural Curriculum lesson is based on a giraffe-necked weevil (which sounds very weird and wonderful!).

Today is the second lesson on 3D modelling. In this lesson you will alter the dimensions of 3D objects and recognise how to lift these objects to create 3D models. You will then enhance your 3D model by changing the colour of your 3D objects.
Have you Tinkercad class code and nickname ready, along with a pencil and paper. I will be looking online at your creations.
