Today we enter the final week of Year 5. What an unusual year it has been!
I remain so proud of you and the efforts you have made throughout the year but especially during this last term.
We will continue to learn this week - keep our brains ticking - but we will also reflect on this year and look forward to the Summer and then Year 6.
As we enter the last week of this school year, I would like to learn from you.
You all have your own unique skills and interests - you are experts in things that others not.
Over this week I am going to ask you to share with us your interest in a number of different ways and I will share these with the rest of Year 5 and 6.
So...
STEP 1
Think about what you would like to be your 'topic' for this week -(a hobby, a place, an animal, a sport, a game, a collection, a time in history, nature, vehicles, a book, films etc)
STEP 2
Create a 'fact file' to introduce your topic.
What do us 'non-experts' need to know?
How are you going to introduce it to us?
You can choose how to present it to us:
Send your work to me (or save on PurpleMash) and I will share with everyone else.
Listening to someone read a story is a great way to relax and unwind.
We are lucky that, at the moment, we have some fantastic stories being read by famous people and excellent story-tellers that are wonderful to enjoy.
