DID YOU KNOW, ON THIS DAY IN ....
1981 Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "Cats" (based on poetry by T. S. Eliot) directed by Trevor Nunn first premiered in the West End, London
I hope you all had a nice weekend and enjoying being with family on VE day Bank Holiday. I thought about my Grandfather on that day, who fought in WWII in the Royal Navy. He was a Chief Petty Officer at the Battle of Dunkirk, after which he was awarded the British Empire Medal.
