► WEDNESDAY'S TIMETABLE
Good Morning Year 1
I really enjoyed our little zoom meeting yesterday, it was lovely to see you and to hear the buzz and laughter that usually fills our classroom again. I am really missing you all, just as much as you are missing eachother so it was nice for me to see you all laughing and joking with eachother. I really enjoyed your dancing too, it looked like you were all having great fun! We will be having another zoom meeting on Thursday morning 10-10.45 so don't worry if you missed this one. I will post the link for this in SEESAW so look out for another announcemnt from me soon.
Thank you for sending me lots of lovely updates on your learning by using your SEESAW accounts, it is really nice to hear your voices, see your videos and look at pictures of your amazing work. Remember if you also do something that is a bit different (like building a den, baking a cake or playing outside) I would also really like to see that too and I may even post some of them on the class blog for all your friends to see. I can't wait to see what super work you complete today with your grown-ups, keep working hard! I am so proud of how hard you are working
► MORNING WORK
The morning work for today is some multiple choice maths questions. You need to click on the link below to access the google form. Please do not forget to type your name in question 5 so Miss Martin knows who has completed the work.
► PHONICS
► ENGLISH
► MATHS
BLUE WORK - back 1 step challenge
GREEN WORK - regular challenge
PURPLE WORK - forward 1 step challenge
These levels of differentiation, for some pieces of learning, will ensure that your child can access teaching and learning that is pitched correctly for them. If you are not sure which colour to do then please email your teacher.
► HANDWRITING
Today in our Handwriting lesson we are going to be looking at letter families. These are groups of letters that are formed in the same way. The first letter we are going to be looking at is the letter c, this comes from the curly caterpillar letter family.
Please complete the worksheets below and if you would like to practice the letter c and it's formation please access the letter join website by following these instructions:
click on the following link to access the website: https://www.letterjoin.co.uk/log-in.html
The log in is as follows, username : tfps_2 password: thythorn2
(Please note there are no capitals in the password or the log in)
Once on the letter join website, please click on easy letters and you will see in the scrolling menu at the bottom letters, please watch how the letter c is formed and then have a go on screen using your mouse.
► ART
In art today, Miss Martin would like you to design your own bicycle, just like Mrs.Armitage did in the story Mrs.Armitage on wheels.
Miss Martin would like you to create this bicycle in any way you want to, you could draw it, paint it, make it out of lego or even junk model it if you wanted to. If you are making a model, you will need to get your grown-up to take a photograph of your creation as you will need this for tomorrow's lesson.
Have fun, be creative. Don't forget to send a picture of the finished Bicycle to Miss Martin on your SEESAW account as she would love to see them!
