Today we are doing yoga. I have attached the workout to complete below.
Phonics: Today we are writing a sentence with the oi sound. Use the sheet dated 03/04/2020 and ask your child to tell you what they see. Plan the sentence (‘The coins in my hand’) together and ask your child to write it down. Remind them to ‘say the word, robot the word, write the word.’ ‘The’ and ‘my’ are both sight words so your child may be able to write them independently or may need your help to remember how to write them.
Maths: Today we are learning about Numberblock 19. I have attached the video below.
Please talk to your child about how we make 19 (10 and 9 make 19 and 9 and 10 make 19). Can they tell you any more facts about 19? See if you can find 19 of the same object in your house.
Can you write the sums which make 19? Can you find any other ways? (e.g. 12+7, 20-1 etc.)
