►English

Our English lessons will follow the same format this week , using pictures to help with our speaking skills and to help us improve and write effective sentences.

Listen to Miss Shepherd on the voice recording (below)  so you know exactly what to do.

English lesson explained.

Today's picture.

1. Question time!

Remember this is a speaking task , no writing is needed for this part of the work.

What different things do you think the boys can see?

How do you think they are feeling?

Who is travelling in the plane?

Do you think the pilot knows that they there?

Why do you think the boys are on the plane’s wing?

How high up do you think they are?

2. Sentence time

Improve the sick sentences.

Can you include a sentence that uses commas in a list ?

The boys sat on the wing. They looked down. They could see lots of stuff.

Miss Shepherd makes the sentences better. This will help you with the English task.

►Art

Create your own aeroplane picture by following the instructions.

You could even draw people looking out of the windows.

You will see the word  fuselage  this is the main body of the aeroplane , the part where the passengers sit.

Remember we have already learnt that airplane is the American spelling.

In England we spell the word like this aeroplane.
