Year 6 - May the 4th be with you! laugh

- The old ones are best! smiley

Today's spelling practice is: using a hyphen - ooh look Year 6, Ms Hadland's going to be so pleased to see the hyphen being used correctly for the words which have the same double vowel between the prefix and the stem/main word - a frequent place for error that the more modern world seems to have indulged in! Grrrr! no

Lesson 1 - Angles in regular polygons

This is "Lesson 1 - Angles in regular polygons" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

The first day back after the weekend is always the hardest - this afternoon I would like you (& your family) to switch everything electronic off, go to the toilet, have a drink of water. Now find a comfortable place; sitting on a chair at the table just like we do in class, or sitting on the sofa, lying on the floor and relax. Read all the instructions first. Decide who is going to press play - after that you do not need to see or be near the laptop - close your eyes, listen to your breathing, wriggle, stretch and relax each part of your body and, in turn, switch each bpdy part off. Deep breath in, hold it for the count of 4 and then breathe out. Do this 8 times and then just listen to your breath going in an out. Remember that when you wake up, switch each part of your body back on and get up slowly. Drink plenty of water and now get a book and read quietly and calmly.
