Today we have a visitor!
The children will have a special person from in school in the classroom.
They will talk about what they do in school and the children will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Phonics
Today we are segmenting.
Go the the link below and select ai, ee or igh (you can click the arrows on the side of the screen to find more sounds.)
Listen to the words and ask the children to segment them. Then ask children to come up and select the sounds needed.
Repeat with different sounds that we have learnt.
Maths
Today we are completing missing number questions.
Watch the Numberblocks episode below and then use the strategy which they used to answer the following questions. For each question, draw blocks and then colour in the answer, encourage the children to count what remains and that is the number that goes in the space.
