SPELLING TEST
The Monday before half term you may have created a list of words to spell. I reminded you each day before half term to practise them. Now would be a good time to ask a grown-up to test you on your spelling list. How did you do?
SPELLING PRACTICE
It is important that we learn to spell well and grow the vocabulary that we can use and spell. Each week we will practise our spelling.
Firstly let's check the basic lists that we are expected to learn. Look at these lists - Start with List 1 as you need to know all these first, then List 2 as you need to know all these next, then List 3 and so on. As you start to look make a personal list of 5 words that you know you need to learn to spell. As soon as you have 5 words on your personal list STOP looking. Make these the first 5 words to learn for this week.

Your second set of words to learn this week belong to a set that follow a spelling pattern or rule. Choose which set of words is the right level of challenge for you to add to your week's personal list to learn:
SET 1: annoy enjoy toy boy |
