Read for 20 minutes.
Then, in the next 20 minutes, write a review of the last book you finished reading. Include what you liked and disliked, information about the characters, setting, action and events. Would you recommend the book to someone?
IT'S BREAK TIME
20 minutes brain break, healthy snack and plenty of fluids to rehydrate your brain.
Today is: SAFER INTERNET DAY
Throughout today and tomorrow afternoon, for our Computing lesson, we will explore many sites to learn about: keeping safe online, being a discerning user and making sure that we can trust what we read online and people can trust.
Be the best version of an online user that you can be!
IT'S LUNCH TIME
Tuesday time for something tasty on toast?
Let's start the afternoon with a catchy rap!
Have you ever blocked some online?
It's perfectly ok to do so if they make you feel uncomfortable.
When you are online they had better respect you - but you have to also respect them! Talk/respond politely, or not at all.
Continuing with the theme of 'Express Yourself.'
I would like you to think about all of the safe internet rules you already know about from when you were learning about e-safety with Mrs Muddimer in the autumn term.
Play the tune again and again. Listen the rhythm and the beat.
Create your own lyrics with your own message.
Think about your own online experiences - what has worked well for you?
What do you enjoy about being online? What has been a problem for you?
Could you write a rap which describes your negative and positive experiences - what you like and what you dislike.
For further information and activities - although these activities can be used in tomorrow's computing lesson: go to Purple Mash and login.
In the search bar type in: Safer Internet Day, or Internet Safety - and explore!
