This week in Maths we are recapping Right Angles!  First of all have a look at this to remind yourself:

Now have a go at these questions - they get trickier as they go along so see how far you can get!

English

Get someone to test you on this week's spelling words - let us know how you get on yes

This week we are continuing to look at adding -ly to the ends of words (often these make adverbs).  The words for this week have root words ending in -y with more than one syllable.  Have a look at this to find out more...

You will need a dice for your spelling activity this week, so make sure you have one (or you could make one!), and then click on your spelling group below to find out what to do:
Something fun for after lunch to make sure you are all still awake!  Can you copy the moves?

Quiet Reading

TT Rockstars!

RE

This week we are finding out about two stories from the Bible.  One story is about a man called Moses and the other is about a man called Paul (who was called Saul at first). Watch these two stories:

Moses and the Burning Bush (Exodus 2-3)

God's Story: Paul

  • What are the similarities between the two stories?
  • What are the differences?

You can write them down or draw pictures to show your ideas.  It might help to organise them into a table like this:

Similarities

Differences

Both stories are about men

Set in different places

Or make a mind map with similarities in one colour and differences in another:

  • Who did you prefer? Moses or Paul?

Draw picture of them showing the part in the story where Christians believe they were contacted by God and write underneath why you have chosen them.

A funny story this week you might enjoy....
