Spelling test
You have a sheet with your spelling words for the test today.
Have another practise and then ask your grown-up to test you. Let your teacher know how well you did.
♦ FRIDAY - WRITE A SET OF INSTRUCTIONS.
Write a set of instructions with numbered steps and bossy verbs.
Choose one of the following.
How to wash your hands.
How to clean your teeth.
How to make a ............ sandwich.
or something of your own choice......

♦ WEDNESDAY
In our phonics lessons we practise spelling words by segementing.
We say the word , we finger the word (use our fingers to break the word into separate sounds) and then we write the word. Use this technique to spell the words when your adult says the word. They all have adjacent consonants.

The parable of the wise and foolish builders
This parable was told by Jesus. Watch the short animation that shows what happened to the two houses.
Think about being wise and making good choices like the builder who built his house upon the rocks. What happened to the foolish builder's house? Why did it fall down?
Draw the two houses at the end of the parable to show what happend.
