Story time - World’s Worse Children 2 ‘Grubby Gertrude’ by David Walliams (https://soundcloud.com/harpercollinspublishers/the-worlds-worst-children-by/s-dqoZWNyMFFq)
I hope that you enjoy the learning, please remember to start your day with the Joe Wicks PE lesson and end it with a diary entry about home learning.
For example, mine today (Wednesday) would say
'Dear diary,
Day 3 indoors, I have spent the ENTIRE DAY indoors, with my family... So many people, so much noise, so much work to do! Creating sound files with my family around is impossible! It has been lovely to hear from all my lovely munchkins and I am so proud of how they have adapted to learning from home. I hope things get better soon...'
As you've shown me your learning spaces, I thought it would be nice to show you my classroom / office
today!
Attachments for each area will be posted below (Re-Write Road is your final draft)
For this lesson I would like you, to read the information below about Tutankhamun, and you can even do a little more research yourself, create and write 10 questions you would like to ask him...
e.g.
Who was the favourite child?
Did you always know you would be a Pharaoh?
I'd love to see the questions you come up with!
We are going to look at and learn all about the Hindu religious festival of Holi.
Please watch the clip below, read the attached info and try my quiz!
Choose one (two for question 5)
For fun
To be unkind
To make a mess
Next have a go at creating your own acrostic poem about Holi!
Either just Holi or Holi Festival...
I tried to make an example using the word FESTIVAL
F is for fun filled with family,
E is for all the food made,
S is for sharing,
T is for time given to others,
I is for India culture,
V is for the various Gods,
A is for all of us worshipping,
L is for the love, given freely.
Feel free to create a bright background for the writing!
