Click on the link below to watch a clip from the BBC series "Professor Branestawm", which depicts the beginning of this chapter.
Over the last week and a half, we have met this chaotic, eccentric and intellectual inventor. He has a very distinctive look and personality that we are going write as a character description.
► STORY

► ART
This afternoon you are going to create a base and background for a train track and if you have the time and the resources, you can create multiple scenes to build them into a fold away style book.
Please watch my demonstration video.
You will need some cardboard, paper, coloured pencils/pens, and any other craft materials to create your scenes.
The base is simply a train track for a toy train to follow. Then each upright picture will have a tunnel somewhere along the bottom edge and a picture around it. This could be the countryside, a building or the station. You could draw and colour these in or print pictures off the internet and collage them onto the background.
► P.E.
Watch the video and use all the different variations and progressions within the video. You will need 2 tubs of any size and some items to put in one. You will set them up with space to do a shuttle run in between them. You can set yourself goals and challenges by setting a timer (you have one on your phones) and trying to collect a number of objects in that time. You can also move between the containers in a variety of ways to make sure you are using a combination of muscle groups. Enjoy!
