► SEESAW TIP OF THE DAY - Keep your Seesaw Journal Tidy

  • Create one new Journal entry for each piece of work you do each day e.g. one for Maths, one for English, one for Topic etc.
  • If you have several things to photograph etc for ONE piece of work then please add them all in ONE Journal entry e.g. page 1, page 2 etc. You can combine a picture, a video etc in this way. (see Monday's help video)
  • Look for the microphone icon to add an audio comment to your post
  • If you are using a tablet or smartphone and the photo you take is upside down or sideways you can rotate it before you send it to your Journal (see help video below).

The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm - Chapter 9

This afternoon you are going to create a base and background for a train track and if you have the time and the resources, you can create multiple scenes to build them into a fold away style book.

Please watch my demonstration video.

You will need some cardboard, paper, coloured pencils/pens, and any other craft materials to create your scenes.

The base is simply a train track for a toy train to follow.  Then each upright picture will have a tunnel somewhere along the bottom edge and a picture around it.  This could be the countryside, a building or the station.  You could draw and colour these in or print pictures off the internet and collage them onto the background.

Art lesson explained and demonstrated.

► P.E.

Watch the video and use all the different variations and progressions within the video.  You will need 2 tubs of any size and some items to put in one.  You will set them up with space to do a shuttle run in between them.  You can set yourself goals and challenges by setting a timer (you have one on your phones) and trying to collect a number of objects in that time.  You can also move between the containers in a variety of ways to make sure you are using a combination of muscle groups. Enjoy!
