Do you remember what happened so far in Shakespeare's play THE TEMPEST? You may want to look back at last week's pages and reread them if you need to refresh your memory.
Today we will be reading further and answering comprehension questions about the pages we have read.

QUESTIONS
1. How are the 2 sailors described? How are they different to each other?
2. Caliban asks the sailors if they are Gods who have come to save him. Does he mean that? Why do you think that?
3. On page 34 and 35, Prospero is described using 2 different words, what are they?
4. Look at page 36 and 37. How does the author create an atmosphere? Find 3 words or phrases that add to the atmosphere.
Can you find a simile?
5. Read page 38 & 39 aloud. Try to use lots of expression and emphasise (say strongly) words that you want to stand out. You might want to read it twice.
