Over the next few weeks our class texts are going to be some of the Katie Morag stories by Mairi Hedderwick. This is linked to our topic An Island Adventure because Katie Morag lives on an island.

Watch the short video below which will introduce you to the chararcter of Katie Morag and where she lives.

Draw a picture of Katie and write some questions that you would ask Katie Morag if you met her.

Remember questions need  a question mark at the end .

In our English lessons we are reading the Katie Morag stories. Click on the video below to listen to the story called Katie Morag and the Triresome Ted. After you have listened to the story write some sentences about the character Katie Morag , think about where she lives , what she looks like and wears and her family.

Today is Rememberance Day and today in school we will be discussing this and having a 2 minutes silence at 11 o'clock. Watch the two short animations below and discuss with your adult.

TASK - in school we have created some poppy art work. Can you create a piece of poppy art work ? You could use coloured pens/pencils or bits and pieces that you might have at home.

*Today is spelling test day. Make sure you have a practise of your words and then get an adult to test you.

*Make sure you spend a bit of time reading your reading books today.

*Today is PE day. Try and be active and get a bit of exercise. You could have a go at the Yoga dance party session below.
