► SHARED WORK AND FEEDBACK
► FIRST SESSION
► IT'S BREAK TIME
It's T for Tuesday: time for a cup of 't'ea and a 't'angerine for me!
Get 20 minutes of fresh air and a brain break.
Go to the toilet.
Wash your hands.
See you shortly!
► SECOND SESSION
We are going to take part in Jane Considine's writing approach.
Be as skilful and adventurous as you can with your sentence structures and vocabulary choices.
Remember you need a double page spread to start.
We are completing this one day behind the live lessons as I could not be sure everybody would be ready to write at 9:45 a.m. on Monday. You can also pause the clip as many times as needed - which we could not do if watching it live.
Gather your ideas and write them down as we go along - do the hard work now and then the exciting, independent writing will be so much easier to pull together. Think about all the skills we are trying to include with the writing criteria needed by the end of Y6.
Are you ready? Let's write!
► IT'S LUNCH TIME!
Take time out to eat together.
Ask your adult to tell you about a childhood memory; a funny moment when everyone fell about laughing.
► AFTERNOON SESSION
Should We Ever Use Anything That Can't Be Recycled?
Take notes as you listen to the link above.
Highlight the key information.
After you have taken the quiz, I would like you to use your notes and create a recycling poster.
You need to share the key information with an eye-catching heading from your notes, you need to include relevant in images taken from your ideas and what you have just learnt, include logos and use of carefully chosen colours linked to recycling,.
Can you create a poster image from recycled images? (maybe not glass - just in case!)
Now do an audit of one room in your house?
List all the things which are and are not recyclable.
What will you change next time you buy something? Why?
Write 2 paragraphs:
1) things you will keep.... and justify your reasons
and 2) things you will change/replace ....and why?
