Phonics:
Today we are looking at the 'ee' sound.
Watch the video below and then practise the letter formation using the video I posted a while ago Tapestry (search 'ee sound')
Today we are going to sort words into 'ee' and 'not ee' words.
Write these words down on pieces of paper and ask your child to read them and then decide if they have an 'ee' in them or not.

met
sleep
deeper
chimp
steep
seek
yum
wax
bright
You could also get your child to practise writing the above words and write them in a sentence.
Writing:
Today we are going to write a list about fruit.
Think of different fruits that your chil likes and ask them to use an adjective to describe them.
Ask your child to write a list of fruits including adjectives.
e.g.
Maths:
Today we are thinking about shape properties.
Talk to your child about the 2d shapes that we learnt yesterday.
Give them explanations such as 'I'm thinking of a shape with____sides' and ask your child to guess the shape.
