► SECOND SESSION

As I mentioned on Friday, it was both National Reading Day and National Handwriting Day over the weekend.

I hope you have got started with your Reading for Pleasure tasks?

National Handwriting Day:

In order to have good pencil control you need to have developed your gross motor skill muscles and then your fine motor skills muscles, thereafter you can develop your controlled handwriting style.

Practise these physical activities first:

Then, practise your fine motor skills exercises:

Patterns may look like you're just doodling but it is all good practice and develops your handwriting skills.

Have fun doodling!

Now apply all your exercises and skills to producing your very best version of the 'changes' involved in The Life Cycle of a Plant. We will have a poem a day to focus on handwriting skills.

► IT'S LUNCH TIME

See if you can have the most colourful lunch possible.

How many different food groups do you have on your plate?

Protein, fruit & veg, carbohydrates, dairy and healthy fats.....

► AFTERNOON SESSION
