Today we are looking at postal workers and their very important job, particularly at this time of the year.
Watch the Let's Play Video below and then roleplay being a postal worker with your child. You could make letters to post, weigh parcels and design stamps.
Phonics
Today we are learning the 'u' sound.
Show your child the 'u' sound and then model writing it, using the letter formation ditty "down and under the umbrella, back up then down and draw the puddle."
Then practise reading and writing the following words, encouraging your child to read and write independently.

Maths
Today we are continuing our work on doubling.
Use toys or items to encourage your child to find the doubles of all numbers from 1-5, counting to check.
Ask them to use this stem sentence to recite the answers: "Double ____ is _____."
