EASTER ACTIVITIES

I have gathered some ideas of activities you can do over the next 2 weeks, you do not HAVE to do these ,but they might help if you are a bit bored! Remember Joe Wicks is doing 30mins PE every day. I will upload some more Fantastic Mr Fox reading too. Wishing you a very HAPPY EASTER! Mrs Boyd

KEEPING THE BRAIN BUSY

Maths

English

  • Practise times tables-especially 4’s and 8’s
  • Practise adding and subtracting in your head
  • Practise sharing amounts into groups of.. e.g. 145 ÷ 5=
  • Count in different multiples – 20’s, 50’s, 100’s
  • Look for right angles, obtuse angles and acute angles
  • try to split different shapes into equal tenths
  • Read something every day, even if it is online!
  • Practise spellings from the yr3/4 list on the yr3 page

EGG BOX CHALLENGE - how many Easter related things can you make with EGG BOXES??

CREATE YOUR OWN EASTER HUNT! YOU DON'T NEED TO USE CHOC EGGS - CHOOSE OBJECTS E.G. TEDDIES AND CREATE A HUNT FOR YOUR FAMILY! MAKE IT HARDER BY SETTING MATHS CLUES!!

 

 

Even though this is a holiday, you can be helpful at home! What jobs do you already do? What jobs could you offer to do? Can you clean a room? Hoover? Sweep the floor? Surprise your parent by being as helpful as you can! I know you can all do it!
