For the next few weeks we are going to be thinking about using inverted commas (or speech marks "....")
in your writing. When we write direct speech we use inverted commas to show the words someone is saying. Work through this PowerPoint to remind yourself about using them in your writing...
There were quite a few questions to work through on their but if you fancy answering a few more have a go at these ones below. There are three levels - it gets harder as it goes along - see how far you can get. The answers are at the end.
