Topic:
This week we are learning the story of Jasper's Beanstalk.
Watch the video below and talk about what Jasper might find at the top of the beanstalk.
Draw a picture of what you think he will find. You can be as creative as you like!
Then write a sentence using the sentence starter 'Jasper climbed the beanstalk and found...' remember to use capital letters, finger spaces ad full stops.
Extra challenge: you could try to extend your sentence by using 'and'.

This week we are thinking about the days of the week.
Listen to the song below and try to learn it.
Ask your child questions like 'Which day comes before Tuesday?' and 'Which day comes after Thursday?'
How many days are there in a week?
How many of them are weekend?
How many of them are school days?
Can you write a sum to show school days + weekends = the total days in the week?
Can you find another way to write it?

Today we are learning our final sound 'oo' as in book.

Ask your child if they notice a similarity between this sound and another sound ('oo' as in food.)
