Today we are learning about the story of the Nativity.
Watch the video below and then create a Christmas card inspired by the story of Jesus' birth. Below is a photograph of what we will be making in school as an example.
Maths
Today we are working on doubles using our fingers.
Watch the video below and try to sing along. Once it has finished, ask your child to show you double of a number using their hands.
Ask them to use the stem sentence, "double ______ is _____."
Phonics
Today we are practising creating captions.
Use the below document.
Ask your child to read the words, cut them out and stick them in the correct order to create the captions. You may need to talk about the pictures before and help them to understand what the caption is.
As an extension, ask your child to write the caption afterwards.
