School Governors play a fundamental role in leading the school, making decisions and improving standards of teaching and learning at Thythorn Field Primary School.
Our School Governors
The Governing Body comprises of eight people from a range of backgrounds and professions, ensuring diversity and a wealth of experience. School Governors are represented by Parents Governors, Staff Governors, Local Authority Governors and Co-opted Governors.
Governing Body Committees and Working Groups
The Governing Body meets as a full governing board (all meetings chaired by the Chair of Governors) to address three key areas: Finance and Resources, Standards and Leadership and Safeguarding, Health and Safety. Each area addresses a range of regulations and responsibilities, ensuring the school complies to all mandatory expectations in these areas.
All Governors are full members of the governing board and have full voting rights.
