TUESDAY

My apologies for the delay - a misunderstanding on my part.

Linking with our Outsiders work this morning - I am sure Greta Thunberg has often felt like an outsider.

She had many personal struggles before she became a public speaker with a strong message to share.

Watch this clip. She is only a few years older than you.

Do you think you could stand in front of a room full of adults and passionately explain about a cause which is important to you - could you persuade people to agree with you?

Persuasive text often includes:

  • repeated words.
  • alliterative words.

  • rhetorical questions.
  • colourful and eye-catching fonts / capitalised words.
  • humour.
