Transition Work
Today we are working on introducing ourselves to our new teacher.
Draw a self portrait and write some facts about yourself.
For example, 'My name is ________ and I like _________, _________ and __________.'
Maths:
Today we are thinking about counting pairs. Use 10 pairs of socks or shoes and place them in pairs.
Count how many socks or shoes in 1 pair, 2 pairs, 3 pairs etc and write the numbers down on pieces of paper. (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc)
Practice reciting the two times tables with the postits and ask questions such as 'How many socks in 3 pairs?'
Phonics:
Today we are practising reading sentences and answering questions for comprehension.
Use the document attached below to read the questions and tell your adult if the answer is 'Yes' or 'No'.
