Today I would like the children to reflect on what they have learnt about healthy eating and think about what else they need to do to stay healthy.

 

Watch the video below and talk to your child about healthy lifestyles.

 

Ask them to create a list about ways to stay healthy including brushing their teeth, washing their hands and exercising.

 

Ask your child to design a workout inspired by PE with Joe Wicks and record them being the teacher.

Phonics:

 

Today we are practising our reading skills.

 

Follow the link below and select various sounds that you child may be struggling to recognise during the Speed Trial they completed yesterday.

 

Children need to listen to the word, sound it out and then identify which egg has the correct word written on it.

Maths:

 

Today we are thinking about one less and two less.

 

First practise counting backwards from 20 a few times.

 

Give your child a number and ask them what one less than that number is. You could extend by asking them what two less is.

 

I have attached a sheet below which asks your child to write the number which is one more and one less than the number in the middle.

 

You could replicate this in their home learning book if you don't have a printer at home.
