ALL IN CLASS:
Today you will hear the story: The Lighthouse Keeper's Son. This is the text we are going to use to link Science and our DT project - I hope you have all been bringing in your Pringles tubes and kitchen roll tubes ready for your group project?
After you have heard the story, you are going to try to create circuits to match the events with the lighthouses. You are going to look at creating a range of circuits to match criteria, exploring 'what if...' whilst changing components one at a time, looking at the impact.
You need to draw and label your circuits and record your circuit exploration ideas and reflections in your non-fiction books.

If you complete the practical elements of this you will then need to begin to plan your project group work which you didn't start last week. One in your groups, and you have your designated role, make an agreed list of art and DT resources your group will need for each element of the island and the lighthouses, You will then be ready to go on Wednesday and complete it by Thursday!!
