MATHS TASK
Today we are looking at problem-solving and reasoning activities with manipulative.
We are using BEAM resources in the maths trucks - you really enjoy and engage with these tasks - and do well.... after a little head scratching!
If time allows, and for fast finishers, here is the last lesson in our 'percentages' area of learning:

It's break time!
Have 20 minutes of exercise, fresh air, relaxation and a snack if you have one.
Go to the toilet, wash your hands and then return ready to learn.
ENGLISH
STOP, DROP and READ:
20 - 30 minutes of reading by an adult, or to an adult: demonstrating good practice and modelling fluency, pace and expression.
WRITING TASK
Today you are going to complete your The Highwayman poem.
Recently, you highlighted the tier 3 vocabulary in the original.
Today you are going to write your own version, ensuring the key words are included.
It is a poem- but it does not have to rhyme - but it can if you want to. The choice is yours!
It's lunchtime already!
